How do failures shape you?
Failure is a lesson learned. Success is a lesson applied.
We all have failed and experienced setbacks in different spheres of our lives. The thing with failure is that it often leaves a dent, its so-called after-effects on our psyche.
How failures will impact us depend merely on our perception. It’s our perception that ultimately decides the success of our failed efforts.
At any given moment in life, failure always has only two insights –
1) Either it breaks us into pieces, burying us deep in the darkness,
Or strengthens our psyche and encourage us to rise with brightness.
2) Either it gives us victim mentality of ‘Why me?’,
Or makes us problem solver with the mindset of ‘Try me.’
3) Either we are left alone in this rat race of life,
Or are pushed out of our comparisons in life.
4) Either we feel abnormal because of our weakness,
Or will start valuing our uniqueness.
5) Either we become dead drinkers trying our best to numb everything,
Or become deep-thinkers who question everything.
6) Either we crib and cry on our failed friendships,
Or get to know the best of our relationships.
Failure is not that bad. It pushes us out of our comfort zones and accelerates growth in different aspects of our life.
How we perceive our failures will ultimately decide how our future will turn out to be. The choice is always ours, whether we want to see our failures as shortcomings or stepping stones for bettering our performance.
Choose wisely!
How do you perceive your failures? Do you take them as your learning or consider them as your downfall? Do you think of quitting or try to improve your performance after failing?
FOOD FOR THOUGHT! THINK IT, FEEL IT & QUESTION IT.
“I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I took the game-winning shot and missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordon
